  • Dates:  Thursday, April 5 - Sunday, April 8, 2018.
  • Arrival Day Thursday, April 5, 2018:  Let us know when you register about what time you will arrive so we can plan ahead. We will use Thursday as a time to "Meet and Greet" with the other attendees and Thursday night new teams will be formed, this will give time Friday morning for the new teams to work together/practice cues. If flying in, please let us know by email (@ bottom of this post) or on your registration form & also if you wish to utilize our Airport Shuttle & your arrival time so we can plan to have someone meet you.
  • End/Leave Time:  The event will officially be over early Sunday afternoon after the Awards Ceremony has concluded.  Attendees can stay Sunday, of course, if their flight is on Monday.  We are planning on a trip to The French Quarter in New Orleans on Sunday afternoon, and would love to have everyone stay & join us if possible.  We just have to have everything cleaned up after everyone leaves.  We must be out by Monday, April 9th.

About our Venue ~

~ Our campground has over 53 acres of lush meadows and live oaks surrounded by swamps (for ensured privacy). We have enough space for over 500 tents and large bonfires, but with intimate gathering areas like our clubhouse and bandstand. Gryphon's Nest provides privacy, modern amenities, and the freedom to let your real self run wild!

~ There are designated RV areas, but no hookups (including electricity) or dump stations. There is a local RV campground that allows dumping for $5, last time we checked You may indicate when you Pre-Register that you will be camping during this event by choosing"Camping Tent" or "Camping RV" on the registration form.
~ Don't rely on MapQuest or your GPS systems -  never get it right! Also when you get closer to the campground you may lose phone signal!  Please see the Our Venue post on FetLife for directions to the venue.

Notes regarding single ponies, puppies & handlers:
* 1. If a handler has more than 1 pony/puppy, they would pay the "Per 2 Person Team Fee" for 2 of them and the "Other Attendee Fee" for the 3rd (or more) person.
* 2. In the case of the single pony, single puppy, or single handler, a team can be made up once you arrive at the event for these categories.

* Two free breakfasts (Sat and Sun);
* Free supper, a Crawfish Boil ~ on Friday night at the opening!  This meal is complementary at no additional cost to everyone registered and paid for by the cut off date ~ Thursday, March 29, 2018 @ 11:59 p.m. ~ 1 week prior to the event. An alternate meal will be provided for those that can't eat shellfish or prefer something else. For those that don't know, along with the crawfish we boil potatoes, sausage, onions, and corn on the cob. If you can't have or don't want the crawfish, please let us know on your registration form in the "Special Needs" section that you prefer the "Alternate Friday night meal"; 
* Camping. Camping is all primitive so you will need to bring a tent. There are also designated RV areas, but no hookups/dumpstations. There is a local RV campground that allows dumping for $5 last time we checked;

Paul Reed
~ Paul Reed has been involved in ponyplay even before he knew what it was called. He trained and rode his first ponygirl when he was 19. He has trained many ponygirls for almost 50 years and has presented demos at Dressing for Pleasure, Arizona Power
Exchange, TES, Black Rose and many others.
~ In 1997, Paul was the founder and Publisher of EQUUS EROTICUS Magazine. After 22 issues he sold the Magazine to Rebecca Wilcox in 2008.

Ponygirl Charisma
~ Charisma is from Santa Fe, New Mexico. She has been a bio-horse trainer and competitor all of her life, claiming titles at state and zone levels. In 2005 she became part of the ponyplay community and began combining it with her knowledge of the real horse world to create a more realistic experience.
~ She is an avid costume enthusiast and enjoys creating one of a kind items that range from hoof boots to plumes.
~ Charisma was a presenter at the 2016 EQUUS International Pony Play event. She holds several ribbons in events such as jumping, blindfolded carting, sulky racing, two legged racing, confirmation, most patient, and more. She served as a Judge for Ponies On The Delta ~ II! in 2017.

Miss Jenn
~ Comes to us to serve as a judge from the beautiful city of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. Miss Jenn is a lifestyle FemDomme in Ottawa. She was Owner and Proprietrix of Breathless for 6 years. (community centre and private club).

~ She now leads a quiet life, working part time and developing 'A Plan' to spread her wealth of sexual knowledge with others.

Ms Lyndsey (aka: Ponygirl lyndsey) ~
~ A horse woman in her own right ~ as well as a 4-event cross-trained ponygirl specializing in pony-cart dancing, Ms Lyndsey raised, trained, and performed in rodeos and other horse shows with her dancing Arabian Mare, "Buttercup", for many years in the Central Pennsylvania area. She is also a professionally trained musician (Opera Singer). She served as a judge at many bio-horse events back in the 70's and she joined us to serve as a Judge for Ponies On The Delta ~ II (2017).
~ Ms Lyndsey began her lifestyle adventures in the mid 1970's as a House Alpha as well as in a Leather Club located in Southeastern Virginia, where she earned her leathers as a bottom and her vest as a top. Besides Virginia & Florida ~ where she lives with her current partner, Ms Lyndsey has also been an active member of the BDSM community in other places across the US where she has lived including: Indiana and Illinois.
~ Ms Lyndsey has been the domestic life partner and the Owned Ponygirl of Tim Ponygroom (who will also be joining us and serving as one of the event photographers) since April of 2007 and they will be celebrating their 11th Anniversary together during this event! They are 2 members of the team of 3 who co-founded of The Florida Critters group in Florida ~ a real-time pony and human critter group which was founded in 2008 and ran through 2013. They have also traveled to various ponyplay events as well as BDSM events & conventions across the US. They have appeared in various publications: The Human Pony - A handbook for owners, trainers and admirers; Fringe Florida: Travels Among Mud Boggers, Furries, Ufologists, Nudists, and Other Lovers of Unconventional Lifestyles; Equus Eroticus Magazine; and others, as well as on TV and radio. Together they run their Service House, PLK Stables, as "an educational House to: train human ponies (or other human animals or critters); to instruct others in the BDSM arts; and to assist new or continuing members of the BDSM community in knowing how to keep themselves safe in the life-style."  PLK Stables is a pround sponsor of Ponies On The Delta and the Ponies On The Delta events

Our House Handlers

~ Been privately involved in ponyplay for 35 years as a pony. Been open about ponyplay with others since 2012. Won 1st place as a pony at Miss Ann's Queens Cup event at Ponies Puppies and Perves. I have organized and hosted all the pony play events here in Louisiana since 2014.

~ Ham is a multiple Blue Ribbon winner in Equitation Dressage from Camp Crucible and Brimstone Pony shows. He and pony Gwenevere were Grand Champion at Brimstone V in 2017. He is the host and Master of Ceremonies for the Camp Crucible ‘Lucky Fucker’ Pony Show.
~ His military background is the basis for the disciplined approach he uses in teaching and demonstrating various skills and techniques for pony play. Ham believes in the PIE triad of “Physical, Intellectual, and Emotional” as part of any scene play and believes this integration is an integral part of human - equine interaction.

~ DJ Swampy, Tom Evans, one of Florida's top professional disc jockeys will provide music for Ponies on the Delta - III! in April.  Tom produces a Florida event, Erotica, and is a lover of ponyplay.  He will provide special music for the ponies.  Tom has over 6000 songs ready to use from soft light rock to heavy beat dungeon music and can find any music desired.  At night, Tom will provide music along with a laser light show ~ so get ready to party down Saturday night!!!!

* * * General Event Rules * * *

* 1. During the Meet and Greet on Thursday night, new teams will be formed, this will give time Friday morning for the new teams to work together/practice cues.  Teams will be finalized at the mandatory meeting on Friday @ 2 pm.  3 point bonus awarded to teams in place by 1:55 PM for this mandatory meeting!

* 2.  Failure to complete in any class/event is a disqualification (DQ) &  **NO** points will be awarded for that class/event (this includes the 1 point entry level point as well).  A DQ = loss of All points for that class/event.

* 3.  Olympic style scoring with the high and low score thrown out with the remaining scores for "judged" classes averaged together for the final score.  Some classes are scored on faults and speed.  Decision of the judges is final.

* 4.  Arguing, trying to intimidate, or such by anyone is grounds for removal from event  and grounds.  Judges will not offer any critiques of performance until after closing ceremonies on Sunday. However, questions/demos about the class requirements are allowed at any time at Judges' discretion.

* 5.  Any entered cart is available for any or all contestants to use.

* 6.  Teams for single ponies & handlers can be made several ways: Same pony with different handlers; different ponies with the same handler; or pony with the house handler(s).  However once teams are made and registered, the handler and pony compete as that team.  No changes or substitutions on handler or pony.  If a Team that can't compete in an entered class due to some reason, that counts as a DQ for that team in that class.

* 7. Teams may enter up to ten classes for a Total possible winning score of 62 points: 5 points for each first place win, 3 bonus points for all running handlers regardless of placement in the final scoring, and 3 points for being in place by 1:55 PM on Friday for the 2 PM Mandatory Meeting.  5 x 10 = 50 + 3 x 3 = 9 + 3 = 62.  Highest Possible Score for winner: 62!

* 8.  All courses except the Dressage course will be posted for preview, and practice is allowed on the course until 15 minutes before the class starts.

* 9.  The teams will draw for numbered placards and this placard must be displayed so as to be visible to the judges during the competition hours.  Failure to display this placard for the judges can result in a no score for that class.  Placard can be removed at the start of each class if necessary but must be re-displayed at the end of the class.  I.E. Taken off right at the start of the jumping course and put back on at the end of the course.

* 10.  Two class divisions: Novice and Advanced. Winners of a 1st place in a class from the previous tear **must** enter the advanced division for that class. Grand champions can only enter all advanced classes.  Novices can enter either novice or advanced.  Advanced class will not allow directional verbal commands.

* 11.  Any type tack is allowed to be used during any Ponies On The Delta event.

Tack is something personal so any type Headstall, Bridle, Halter, Harness, Bit is allowed. In a class where the pony is to be shown "In Hand" means the Handler will be showing the pony with any type lead, shank, reins, attached to the headstall or bridle. In a class that states the pony is to be "Hitched to the cart" means the pony is to be attached to the cart with any type Pulling Belt or Harness that connects the pony to the cart.  Any Footwear or Barefoot is allowed. Handlers choice for any or all tack as needed to handle the pony on the grounds of any Ponies On The Delta event is allowed.

2018 Schedule for Classes & Events (final):

On Thursday ~ Arrival Day and time to get to meet the other attendees!!

On Friday get LUNCH earlier enough to arrive by 1:55 PM (to get 3 BONUS POINTS) for the 2 PM mandatory meeting.  We will start round 3 PM-ish:

  • We start with Pole Bending;
  • Blindfold Cart Challenge and Blindfold Cart Obstacle Course will run at the same time in arenas next to each other;
  • Last class for Friday is Barrel Race.

We will then have DINNER ~ the "Crawfish Boil" (or alternative dinner) ~ and then go to the French Quarter.  Remember  NOT to stay out so late that you can't arrive on time for the first event on Saturday @ 9 AM sharp!

On Saturday get up in time to get BREAKFAST as we start @ 9 AM sharp:

  • Hunter Jumper;
  • Reining;
  • Endurance Cart Race. The first half of Endurance Cart will be before the lunch break and the second half of the class after the lunch break (this all depends on time we start the course and we might be finished before lunch if we get an earlier start);


  • Dressage; finish with
  • Sprint Race.


  • Trainers Class

Sunday morning get up in time to get BREAKFAST as we start @ 9 AM sharp:

  • Halter and Sled Pull running at the same time.
  • Awards Program will be at Noon Sunday in the Clubhouse.

NOTE:  The starting time for the classes will depend on what time we get the prior class finished.

Fun Games

Everyone is invited to participate ~ these games are just for fun! ALL teams are allowed to have fun in the "Fun Games".

* Cart Ring Jousting ~ Rings will be suspended from polls stuck in the ground. Handler will have a jousting-pole and, sitting in the pony-cart, will see how many rings they can get on their pole as the pony pulls the cart past the ground poles.
* Grudge Match ~ Stallions against mares & geldings.
* Scavenger Hunt ~ An all day event on Saturday.
* Pony Tug-o-war! ~ Self explanatory. This event will be held at night.
